Why should we support recycling??
~Recycling reduces our reliance on landfills and incinerators.
~Recycling protects our health and environment when harmful substances are removed from the waste stream.
~Recycling conserves our natural resources because it reduces the need for raw materials.
Therefore, with all the points I have given, we should support recycling!(: SAVE MOTHER EARTH!! I am sure that you do not want to have so many problems with the earth like global warming. It concerns all of you too because if it gets hotter and hotter each day, the situation might be worse and something might happen to the earth. We don't know until that very day so PLEASE, PLEASE do your part!! Thank you!!(:

How to recycle?
The most important aim for us today should be the concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We need to reduce the use of non-biodegradable objects, we need to reuse objects as often as possible and recycle as well. Let us check out ways in which you can help the environment.
~Whenever you shop, buy products that have the least amount of packaging.
~Remember to reduce the use of plastic. While shopping, carry cloth bags in case you have a penchant for shopping and end up with huge parcels! Reuse plastic bags you have at home and avoid adding more to the heap.
~Reuse scraps of paper (envelopes, mailers etc). Do not use fresh sheets for things you don’t need.
~Do not dump left over food in the trash bin. Place it in a compost bin and use it later to make organic fertilizer.
~Find out about local recycling centers and assist them in the process by segregating objects that can be recycled at home.
~Reduce your energy usage at home and at your office as well. For example - cut down on the use of air conditioners.
~Purchase recycled products. You would thus be lending your support for a good cause.
~Convert old items into interesting objects rather than throwing it away. For example - old cards can be reused to create something new or an old bottle can be converted into an interesting showpiece! Use your creativity to the fullest.
~Use rechargeable batteries as they have a longer life. Once used completely, do not dispose them off with your daily garbage, give them away to be recycled.
The most important thing about recycling is to spread the word. So, have you done your bit today?
Some things you might be able to recycle easily are:
-Batteries (very important)- car batteries, equipment batteries, flashlight
-Beer and wine bottles, jars, other glass items
-Paper and plastic bags (reuse first if possible)
-Magazines, newspapers, phone-books
-Plastic bottles, plastic containers
-Cans and tins
-Juice/soup/milk cartons
-Any items with recycle symbol on them
But before you recycle any bottles, you must rinse it with water and clean it before throwing them into the recycle bin.(:
Tips on recycling.
Find ways of recycling different materials.
~Many materials can be recycled, such as paper, plastic, metal and glass. Other items such as furniture, electronic equipment, building material and vehicles can also be recycled but many people don't often think to do so.
Buy products that can be recycled.
~When shopping at the supermarket, buy products that can be recycled easily such as glass jars and tin cans.
Buy products that have been made from recycled material.
~You can tell if a product is eco-friendly by looking at the label on the packaging.
Avoiding buying hazardous material.
~It is difficult to recycle products that contain hazardous waste. Try to find safer alternatives to household cleaners and buy non-toxic products whenever possible.
Recycle bins.
~Make sure you have a recycle bin in your home. Keep it in an obvious place so you won't forget to use it. Your local council should be able to provide you with a recycle bin that can be used for materials such as glass, paper, aluminium and plastic.
Why should we recycle?-To save energy Saving energy is a good reason why we should recycle. The energy saved by recycling an aluminium drink can is enough to power a television for about 3 hours.
-To preserve the planets' natural resources The chopping down of trees, the mining of metal and the refining and burning of oil to make plastic all use a lot of energy and put excessive carbon dioxide, and other greenhouse gases, into our atmosphere.-To reduce pollutionMost of the rubbish or garbage is sent to landfill sites or put in incinerators and burnt which pollutes the atmosphere. -Landfill sites are slowly becoming full
-Can be cheaper than using raw materials
Since there are so many advantages of recycling, why not just recycle? Simply throw it into the recycle bin.(: If we don’t recycle, we will eventually run out of space for all of our trash. So, please do your part to recycle and save Mother Earth!!(:
